About the role
We are looking for a hands-on Financial Controller / Finance Manager who enjoys working in a small, dynamic team and takes ownership of the financial administration of APC and its portfolio companie, you will report to the CFRO of the company who is based in Luzerne.
This is not a role where you only review reports – you’ll also dive into the details yourself. At the same time, you will work closely with our financial administrators, with whom you can share tasks and explain processes clearly. You ensure that the administration runs smoothly.
From running the financial administration and improving processes to answering strategic questions from management, you’ll have a direct impact on how we grow.
Your responsibilities will include:
Running and improving the financial administration (start to finish);
Month-end closing and reporting;
Handling statutory and regulatory filings (VAT, tax, etc.);
Being the financial point of contact for internal and external stakeholders;
Optimizing and structuring our finance processes as we scale.
About you
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting / Finance;
Several years of experience in accounting or controlling;
Strong knowledge of bookkeeping and financial processes;
Organised, detail-oriented, proactive;
Confident working in a small team;
Excellent English and Dutch.

You are responsible for:
Control, manage, supervise and monitor the general ledger administration of various portfolio companies.
Responsible for bookkeeping; entries of sales and purchase invoices.
Compile and manage monthly VAT declarations.
Credit management of outstanding amounts.
Doing daily expense and revenue matching and weekly reconciliations of bank statements.
Point of contact regarding business information for the management team and operational department.
What do you bring?
You have experienced different learning curves and know how to adapt quickly and make use of new situations. You have the guts to make decisions, you are energetic, independent and you have a positive attitude and drive for change and execution. These make that you realize targets in an environment that is changing more and more rapidly.
Your background and skills:
HBO or WO in accounting / finance.
1-2 years of accounting/controlling experience, accounting firm is a pre.
Excellent organisational skills.
Knowledge of accounting software.
You have great attention to detail and are proactive.
Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices (Dutch GAAP and/or IFRS).
Dutch speaking is an asset.
